Today: An inversion aloft ~1km, is expected to linger throughout the day. A low and frontal boundary that passed over the region this morning will stall to the east for much of the day. This will bring light winds for the most part, however, different areas of the fire may experience variable winds and and shifts in wind direction due to the proximity of the synoptic features (front and low) as well as the chance of a lake breeze. The low and front will bring a mix of sun and cloud to mostly cloudy skies, a chance of showers and risk of thundershowers to the region. Up to 10mm, winds gusting 70km/h and risk of small hail in thundershowers. Chance of a lake breeze, increasing wind speeds and causing wind direction to shift.

Max Temp: 26C. Min RH: 55%. Winds: SE 5-15km/h > L/V Precipitation: Trace in showers. Humidex 29-32C.

Tonight: Surface inversion expected to build by 22:00CST. There will be clearing of skies by midnight as the surface low departs to the east. The low and warm front to the north and another low to the southwest brings increasing cloud cover again by morning with a chance of showers. Fog patches expected to develop overnight and should burn off by 9:00CST with daytime heating and mixing as the inversion begins to break. Up to 10-15mm, winds gusting 80km/h and slight risk of hail in thundershowers.

Min Temp: 16C. Max RH: 100%. Winds: S-SE 10-15km/h, L/V at times. Precipitation: Trace in any showers.

Forecast for Sunday: Surface inversion expected to break by 09:00CST. A low near Wollaston Lake with a surface trough to a low south of the region will cause a shift from light and variable to northeasterly with a chance of showers and risk of thundershowers to the region. Slight chance of a lake breeze, increasing wind speeds and causing wind direction to shift. Up to 10mm and winds gusting 70km/h in thundershowers

Max Temp: 22C. Min RH: 70%. Winds: N-NEE 5-15km/h, L/V at times. Precipitation: Trace in showers.
